ABOUT
The Foundation for Hearing and Speech Resources (FHSR)
ABOUT

When your child is diagnosed with hearing loss, it can be a stressful time when you are inundated with new information. As parents, relatives and professionals who work with deaf and hard of hearing children, our Board is uniquely aware of the challenges families face when a child has been identified with hearing loss. For over 60 years, we have been a foundation dedicated to providing support to both the child and the family through our wrap around services.

for All Our Learners.

FHSR is working to make sure no deaf or hard of hearing child in Illinois is without the tools they need to succeed in school. To achieve that goal, the FHSR Education Coordinator offers a unique, personalized resource to help deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) students thrive in the classroom and beyond. The Education Coordinator partners with families living with pediatric hearing loss and the educators who serve them.
