Rock the Town for Hearing is FHSR’s annual fundraiser dedicated to empowering children and young adults with hearing loss. Since 1958, the Foundation for Hearing and Speech Resources (FHSR) has been committed to helping Illinois families overcome communication barriers through education, music, advocacy, and community support.
This concert event blends inspiring live music with the mission to raise vital funds that sustain FHSR’s free programs for deaf and hard of hearing children across Chicago and beyond.

Featuring Sally Blandon, FHSR's Music Program Coordinator
Tears Dry On Their Own is a quintet featuring the vocals of multi-talented Sally Blandon; professional musician, Early Childhood & General Music Program Director at Merit School of Music and the lead music educator for the FHSR Music to My Ears program.Â
Their sets will feature songs from Amy Winehouse, Motown, Soul and Jazz Standards. They will dig deep into the cockles of your heart as they take on some of Amy’s classic hits and other hidden treasures.
