Rock the Town
A big thank you to everybody who made Rock the Town for Hearing Music Scholarship 2019 a great success! We were able to raise $9000. We had a great time listening to beautiful music in the historic Chicago Venue at Old Town School of Folk Music. The proceeds will fund the FHSR Music to My Ears Scholarship fund. This scholarship was created to celebrate the joy of music for children with hearing loss. We want to thank The Old Town School of Folk Music and Marshall Crenshaw and the Bottle Rockets for making the event a smash!

Cheers for Ears
Another big thank you goes to everybody who attended Cheers for Ears at Columbia College in Chicago. It was a Country and Western jamboree featuring Farmer Jake & the Funky Cowboys! The FHSR Associate Board was so happy to see so many children come out, dance and listen to music with new and old friends. We had over 40 children with hearing loss who were laughing, giggling and dancing. This was a great place for children to interact with other children who have a hearing loss and for their parents to talk to other parents. We want to thank Columbia College and Farmer Jake & the Funky Cowboys for helping make the event so fabulous! We can’t wait to see you again at Cheers for Ears in 2020!
If you were unable to come to the Rock the Town or Cheers for Ears but would like to support FHSR, you can donate here.
