Our Year of Empowerment & Advocacy

THE WALK FOR LURIE CHILDREN'S
JUNE 7, 2026 - MONTROSE HARBOR, CHICAGO

This year was our 14th year walking for Lurie Children’s Hospital’s Audiology Department!

On Saturday, May 12, 2012, FHSR walked alongside 5,000 participants as part of what was then called Move for the Kids, in celebration of the new Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (which had just officially moved from Lincoln Park to their beautiful new downtown location).  Despite the rainy, blustery weather, there was no deterring FHSR!

Over the years we have been so inspired by walk participants – and we’ve amplified our impact by teaming up with Mal’s Pals, led by Mallory and her mom, FHSR Board Director Jennifer Evangelides.  Learn more about Mal’s journey on our blog.

Our community has consistently supported the Walk for Lurie’s because we’re committed to going the distance to provide a healthier future for every child with hearing loss.

TEAM MAL'S PALS AND FHSR #1 FOR LURIE WALK FUNDRAISING!

Team FHSR and Mal’s Pals lead the
Walk for Lurie’s fundraiser once again!

Our donors make a difference in the lives of nearly 3,000 pudiology patients treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago each year.

Congratulations to our very own Mallory, who was the #1 individual fundraiser in 2025, raising over $25,000! Mal’s history of advocacy earned her the privilege of serving as the walk’s very first Grand Marshall.

Support our efforts for the 2026 Walk for Lurie’s  by joining our team and/or making a gift today.

Every dollar raised means a brighter and healthier future for children living with hearing loss.
