2025 - Our Year of Access & Inclusion

EVENTS

Our work at FHSR is all about community; how we can best support and bring together the families and children living with hearing loss.  We feel creating community is key and strive at our free family events, such as Cheers for Ears,  Bowling with Friends and our Musical Storytime’s to create opportunities for conversations and friendships to blossom and grow.

Cheers and Ears for Beers fundraises for pediatric loaner hearing aid banks throughout Chicagoland.

Our Speaker Series provides topical up to the moment research study outcomes, current best practices for services and education information on raising a child who has hearing loss, giving the parents, caregivers and professionals in our community a large toolbox of key information.

Rock the Town For Hearing is our Annual Fundraiser to create awareness and raise funds for the FREE programming we provide for children with Hearing loss.
